Fish curry with mustard gravy in 10 simple steps:
1. Clean and cut the fish.
2. Shallow fry fish on a hot kadhai with mustard oil.
3. Heat the kadhai again, pour mustard oil and heat it.
4. Put “kala jeera” / kalonji (black cumin), red chilly.
5. Put crushed garlic and fry for 30 sec.
6. Put sliced tomato, salt and fry for 2 mins in medium flame.
7. Now lower the flame, put mustard paste and fry just for 15-20 sec, add water as per requirement and simmer it.
8. Put dry mango and fried fish in the gravy and let it simmer for 5 min.
You can add sliced tomato and green chilly.
9. Garnish with dhaniya and little “chat masala”.
10. Let the curry rest for 5 minutes after cooking and then serve.
