On the night of May 18th, residents of Pragathi Nagar gathered to celebrate the 8th annual Pallaki Utsava at Shri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Devasthana. The event was marked by grand festivities, with the entire locality illuminated and the temple beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. A highlight was the procession of 15 pallakis (palanquins) through Pragathi Nagar and Chikkathogur, featuring traditional Veeragase performances that thrilled the children. Women adorned the roads with intricate rangoli designs to welcome the pallakis. Special poojas were offered, and prasada was distributed to all attendees. The successful event was made possible by the support of the Electronic City Police, BBMP, and the active participation and contributions of the residents, who came together to celebrate with joy and unity.
