Neeladri Nagar Residents Welfare Federation successfully organized its third annual Tiranga Yatra, uniting the entire community for Independence Day celebrations. The event saw enthusiastic participation from residents, CISF personnel, and students from Vedam School and Sasi College. Karnataka’s traditional Dollu Kunita and Pooja Kunita folk dances were the highlight, captivating the crowd.
The Bharat Mata photo and CISF jawans were warmly welcomed by each residential society with flower showers, while commercial establishments along Neeladri Road offered flowers, sweets, and refreshments to participants.
Federation President Mr. Parashuram Yaragudri expressed gratitude to all participants and Narayana Health for their support. He emphasized the importance of introducing unique folk dances each year, reflecting the diversity of Electronic City’s residents. Children dressed as freedom fighters also took part with enthusiasm, underscoring the Yatra’s goal of instilling patriotism and respect for the nation and its culture in the younger generation.
