The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi of Electronic City celebrated the Onam festival with great fervor and enthusiasm. Devotees and members actively participated, especially the Mahila Vibhag and Balvikas wing, leading the celebrations. The event featured attendees dressed in traditional attire, colorful ‘Pookkalam’ (flower rangoli), and devotional singing.

Onam is a festival of love, selflessness, joy, and devotion, teaching us to forget our differences and unite in brotherhood. The Balvikas children from Matrudham offered beautiful bhajans during this holy occasion.

From Onam, mankind can learn important lessons from the great Emperor Bali. His commitment to values and his promise to Lord Narayana highlight the importance of integrity. Emperor Bali’s generosity and selflessness, rooted in his unwavering faith in God, inspire us to serve others. By being kind and generous, we can make the world a better place. Furthermore, Bali’s expansive self merged into Divine Consciousness, illustrating the power of unity. Purity leads to unity, and unity leads to merging with divinity.
