I belong to a generation, Which is lost somewhere in between. Neither are we the golden oldies, Nor the throbbing teens. We loved when Yahoo! got messenger, And Orkut was simply divine. Where G-talk was the emoji wonder, And scratch-free CDs made us shine. The adopted kids of technology, Google guided us to graduate. But through the Intel's generations, The wonders and fun began to deviate. When tech became smarter than people, And society started living through the phone. We wished everyone for everything. In written expressions and non-vocal tone! It’s weird to see kids fighting each other, On play-stations and not on playgrounds. But I hear less chirping and more twitter! Greener foods are harmful, Yet green foods are good. There are a dozen of carcinogens around, Wherever you may have stood. And it just got weirder, All emotions on a screen display. Proposing a person by going "live", then "feeling heartbroken" the other day! Logout from your virtual society, Take a real scenic tour. There are thousands of hacks to crack, Millions of books and faces to explore! Meet a person if you truly wish to. Give genuine smile to the acquaintances. A friendly discussion holds more answers than Qoura, Our elders know many happening places! And though you might read this, On various platforms via internet data. Just excuse me for this one time, For I too am a victim of this "Social Siyaapa"
