ELCITA has implemented an Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) in Electronics City, integrated with the Bangalore Traffic Management Centre. The initiative aims to regulate traffic flow, enhance road safety, and ensure strict enforcement of traffic rules. Citizens are urged to drive safely and follow regulations.

Heavy rains on October 3rd evening flooded the Bengaluru–Hosur National Highway near Veerasandra Signal, turning the stretch into a lake. The waterlogging caused massive traffic jams and inconvenience to motorists. Despite recurring floods, the issue remains unresolved due to the lack of a proper drainage system by the Highways Authority.

Bengaluru’s suburban rail project hit a snag — L&T exits the Kanaka (Heelalige → Rajankunte) corridor. For Electronics City commuters, that’s a huge blow — no fast rail link, no relief from traffic snarls.

BMTC’s NICE Road bus service has been a major success, carrying nearly 38 lakh passengers in 13 months and generating ₹17.13 crore revenue. Covering 360 km daily, it offers the fastest Tumakuru Road–Electronic City route. Commuters, however, demand proper bus shelters along NICE Road.

The Namo Yuva Marathon was held on 27th September 2025 near 360° Business Park, Neeladri Road. Participants of all levels joined early morning for fitness, fun, and awareness, promoting a Nasha Mukt Bharat. The event was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and community spirit.

Bengaluru police busted a forgery ring near Electronics City, arresting B. Raghuveer (25) and aide Yashwanth (19). Operating from Sri Gurudatta Cyber Centre, they allegedly sold fake IDs for ₹1,000–3,000 and falsified Assam marksheets/certificates for ₹5,000, targeting unsuspecting clients.

Big news for Electronics City commuters! The 5th train has been deployed at Hebbagodi depot. Following a successful two-week trial, the Yellow Line frequency will improve to every 15 minutes, promising faster and smoother rides for daily passengers along this busy Bengaluru Yellow Metro corridor.
