Bengaluru South City Municipal authorities have launched the MATRA App on a pilot basis in Koramangala to digitally monitor garbage collection vehicles and improve waste management services. The app enables live GPS tracking, route monitoring, and supervision of collection vehicles, aiming to enhance transparency, accountability, and faster resolution of public complaints. Twenty-five garbage collection auto drivers have already been onboarded under the pilot project.
