To improve first and last-mile connectivity for Metro commuters, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), in coordination with the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), has introduced a dedicated Metro feeder bus service between Electronic City Wipro Gate and Tin Factory (Benniganahalli Metro Station).

The feeder bus will connect major residential, commercial and employment hubs along the route, including Electronic City, Konappana Agrahara, Hosa Road, Haralur, Sarjapura Road Junction, Kadubeesanahalli, Marathahalli Bridge Junction, Doddanekundi Railway Bridge, Mahadevapura Junction and K.R. Puram Railway Station before reaching Benniganahalli Metro Station.

The service is aimed at making Metro travel more convenient by providing seamless connectivity to commuters travelling to and from Electronic City.

Departure Timings from Electronic City Wipro Gate:
05:30, 06:00, 06:30, 07:00, 07:40, 08:20, 09:00, 10:20, 13:15, 14:00, 14:40, 15:10, 15:50, 16:30, 17:10, 17:50, 18:30, 19:10, 19:50, 20:30 and 21:10 hrs.

Departure Timings from Tin Factory (Benniganahalli Metro Station):
05:30, 06:00, 06:30, 07:00, 07:40, 08:20, 09:00, 09:40, 10:20, 11:00, 11:40, 12:10, 15:50, 16:30, 17:10, 17:50, 18:30, 19:10, 19:50, 20:30 and 21:10 hrs.

BMRCL has urged Metro users to make optimum use of these dedicated feeder buses, which are expected to reduce dependence on private vehicles and offer reliable, affordable and seamless last-mile connectivity across Bengaluru.
