1,427 acres across 31 villages have been notified for the 52-km Peripheral Ring Road Phase-2, with an 8-lane corridor planned to boost connectivity between South-West and North Bengaluru. PRR-1 (73 km) + PRR-2 (52 km) = 125 km of planned ring-road network around Bengaluru.

BDA has invited tenders for PMC services for road, drain and culvert development in Anekal Taluk, covering two ₹25-crore packages worth ₹50 crore in total. The project aims to improve roads and civic infrastructure across the Anekal region.

Wipro Kawasaki Precision Machinery plans a ₹1,000-crore hydraulic-pump manufacturing plant at Harohalli, expected to create around 1,200 jobs. The investment could strengthen the Electronic City–Jigani–Anekal–Harohalli industrial corridor and create new opportunities for jobs, logistics and supporting businesses.
