ELECTRONIC CITY: Thousands of commuters using Huskur Gate Metro Station are facing difficulties due to poor pedestrian infrastructure along the access road. The stretch reportedly lacks proper footpaths, while open drains run alongside the service road. Garbage dumping has also occupied portions of the pedestrian space.
With no safe walking pathway, commuters are forced to share the road with moving vehicles, increasing the risk of accidents, particularly during peak hours and after dark.
Residents and Metro users have urged authorities to clear the garbage, cover the open drains and provide a continuous, safe footpath leading to the station.
