- Abhivyakti is an event conducted every year on November 14th. The event comprises of fun activities for the students with an opportunity to showcase their talent. The students of Class 11 took up the task of planning and execution of the celebration. Assisted by the in-charge teachers,. the core team of Karunya, Nikita and Ashish of Class 11 worked in coordination for the assigning of classes.
- The planning consisted of dividing the classes in the school into three groups, and allocating enjoyable activities for students belonging to each group. The lower grades had origami and shloka chanting, classes 4-9 took part in cooking without fire, dance, singing, photography etc... On the day of the event, a stage was set up in each floor for the dazzling performances. Students of class 11 were there to administer and guide the activities in each group. The lower classes also enjoyed a movie session.
- Through this event, students of class 11 obtained extensive learning and engaged in new experiences. Karunya shared her thoughts that having to plan everything by themselves provided an insight on how teachers regulated everything in school. Nikita mentioned how it was not an easy task to plan the event, and how the team was able to overcome difficulties by staying on the same page. Ashish shared of how they learnt to come up with last minute solutions and prepare everything in the short span of one month.
- The memorable event sharpened the leadership skills in our children and paved way for being the integral part of the action plan
