BS International School celebrated its 5th Annual Day – PRATHIBHOTSAV on February 11th 2023. The programme commenced with the auspicious light of the ceremonial lamp by Honourable Chief Guest – MR SC. KALASAD, PROF. DR.MADHU KRISHAN, the guests of honour Wing Commander Jasbir Singh, Chairman (Vali Group of Companies), Dr Jayaprakash (CEO- Holistic Life Care and Ayurvedic Centre) and all the other dignitaries of the day.
The emcee of the Annual Day Ms Mildred welcomed the esteemed dignitaries and presented an inaugural address and highlighted that the school is committed to inculcating the seven necessities of human life in the students. The vision of the school is “Nurturing leaders through holistic education”.
The Annual report of the school was presented by the School Principal – Mrs Jayanthi N, accentuating the progress of the school throughout the year.
Students of all grades were awarded for their best performance in Academic Excellence for the year 2022-23.
Special gratitude was expressed to Ms Prarthana, Ms Poornima and Mr Venkatesh who were the pillars of strength for the Chairman during his initial business ventures and he thanked them reverentially for their services to the organisation. They were felicitated and honoured by the Chairman Dr D Hyder Vali.
The food and refreshments for the students, parents and staff were sponsored by Holistic Life Care Ayurvedic Clinic – led by the CEO – Dr Jayaprakash.
A prize distribution ceremony was conducted to felicitate and recognize the talent of students in various CCA fields like Art, Cultural, Sports etc. Five students – Claire Joe, Jonathan Gavin Antony, Mohit Kashyap, Shreya, and Advik Nagaraj – were felicitated for their exemplary work in co-curricular activities during the year.
Loyalty awards were also presented to the employees of the institution as a token of gratitude for their unstinted services and services to the school for the past 5 years.
The cultural activities were conducted by the students of Montessori, Primary and the Secondary grades which included dance performances as per the theme “Incredible India” followed by several dance drama presentations, including a Yoga display and patriotic message on the BSF to the audience.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Joyce Leema. She acknowledged the efforts of students, teachers and supporting staff and thanked the esteemed guests for their precious time and presence.
This was followed by the National Anthem as a tribute to our nation.
