Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Karnataka on 10 May 2023 to elect all 224 members of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. The votes will be counted, and the results will be declared on 13 May 2023. The tenure of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on 24 May 2023. The previous assembly elections were held in May 2018. The schedule of the election was announced by the Election Commission of India on 29 March 2023. The Election Commission declared that the provisions of the Model Code of Conduct “came into force with immediate effect” with the announcement of the schedule.
