The speaker, here, tells us that music is not something you just hear but also feel. Speaking about music, on the occasion of International Music day (21st June), our school held an event to bring out the students’ talent. It was the 5th edition of ‘BVM SWARALAYA’ and each year has been a successful one with growing numbers of participation.
It is a great platform for our students to show what they really could do with respect to classical music. The chief guest Mr. Madhukar Malayanur is a passionate Tabla Player undergoing the tutelage of renowned masters. He has been learning for many years amidst his busy schedule of senior Software Professional. He sowed the seeds of inspiration in students through his speech of pursuing his passion relentlessly.
The families and friends encouraged the performing young artists. The congenial, non-competitive atmosphere proved to be a crucial factor for many participants to feel at ease and give their best.
Variety of displays in Indian/western classical dance, vocal and instrumental music were served as feast for the audience. The atmosphere was joyful and energizing. Children were motivated to display their talents and develop their stage skills.
The event, Swaralaya was held for 4 days class wise in a structured format. The program was captivating, and we all had fun supporting the other participants to give stellar performances.
