Bengaluru Metro's E-City Extension Faces Delay

The launch of the RV Road-Bommasandra Line (Yellow Line) extension for Bengaluru Metro’s Reach-5 has been delayed due to the deferment of the first batch of six-car train sets until mid-October. Titagarh Wagons and China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation are supplying coaches for the line, facing delays in components supply. This affects the proposed December launch. All trains expected by July 2024.
