School elections are not just about selecting leaders; they embody the values of responsibility, democracy, and active participation.

In our BVM Global School, the election process is a meticulous and inclusive journey. Students who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to submit nomination forms. These forms are carefully reviewed by teachers and then forwarded to our vice principal for further evaluation.

The next step is a pivotal one: an interview with our principal. During this interview, candidates discuss their principles and share their visions for positive changes and improvements in our school. This stage ensures that our potential leaders are aligned with the core values and are genuinely committed to making a difference.

Candidates are given time to present their ideas, engage with their peers, and build support as part of the campaign. This period is an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their leadership skills and connect with the school community.

The actual voting is conducted through Google Forms, ensuring a fair and efficient process. Finally, the culmination of this democratic process is the investiture ceremony, where elected students are formally assigned their new roles. I was selected as the secretary of a prestigious club and thoroughly enjoyed the process from the start to the end.

Through this process, we learnt the importance of leadership, integrity, and community engagement. Let us continue to uphold these values and support our elected leaders in making our school a better place.
