Karnataka reporting 214, including
73 in Bengaluru. The Karnataka government has issued new guidelines in response.
Specific Measures for Bengaluru:
- Increased testing and surveillance are underway to manage the situation effectively.
- Public awareness campaigns on respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette are being conducted.
I. Practices for Kids at Schools:
- Mask Wearing: Ensure children wear masks, especially in crowded indoor settings.
- Hand Hygiene: Remind kids to wash their hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Social Distancing: Encourage maintaining a safe distance in classrooms and playgrounds.
- Vaccination: Stay updated on COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.

- Mask Up: Wear masks in public places, especially where social distancing is difficult.
- Avoid Crowds: Limit exposure to crowded areas and choose outdoor activities.
