BVM GLOBAL School conducted the 6th edition of the musical event Swaralaya on 18th – 21st June with the blessings of Trinity and Nataraja – The Lord of Dance. Art adds depth to education in various forms of expression. Every year, we celebrate Swaralaya with a lot of artistic fervor and vigour. The chief guest of the event, Dr. Jayashree Ravi, a classical dancer who was a part of the event served as a vibrant platform for artists, connoisseurs, and enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the intricate melodies, rhythms, and movements that define Indian classical arts. The event started with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest on the first day of the show. The students of class 9 and 10 performed with enthusiasm and dedication. All their performances were enjoyed by the chief guest who appreciated the idea of showcasing talents without competition.
On the second day, classes 7 and 8 also had various music and dance performances. The event culminated with performances of classes 3 – 6 on days three and four. Each performance was a visual feast, combining expressive gestures, intricate footwork, and captivating narratives. Throughout the event all students performed with involvement and the parents encouraged their wards to put in efforts for a wonderful performance. Thus, it embodies the essence of a rich cultural heritage, fostering a deeper connection between artists and audiences
