Vidushi Smt Dr. Radhika Sridharan is the artistic director of R Dance School and is teaching Bharatanatyam for more than a decade. She is Nrutya Visharad from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She is also recipient of Honorary Phd. in Bharatanatyam. She is the disciple of Kala Shiromani Guru Meera Chandrashekaran. She is learning this divine art form from a tender age of 5 Yrs under her Guru Meera Chandrashekaran from Nagpur. Along with masters in Bharatanatyam she has also completed her B.E in Computer Science and M.B.A in Systems and International Business from College of Advanced Technology Studies.
Radhika has many performances and awards to her glory. She has been bestowed with many titles like – Natya Kala Ratna, Nrutya Kala Thilagam, Nrutya Kalai Vani, Kala Shiromani. Along with Bharatanatyam Radhika got the opportunity to learn Kathak and Odissi. She loves teaching and is very happy and proud that her children are now in the stage of appearing for Visharad in Bharatnatyam. R Dance School is based out of Electronic City. The main aim and focus of this dance school is to keep our tradition alive. This school is 14 years old, it has two branches in and around electronic city.
