Hii, I’m Ankita ,
I always wanted to start something of my own. Pre-covid I was involved in multiple things like chocolates, dessert jars, evening snacks. Whatever I did, I received lots of love and appreciation, but my earnings never represented my efforts. During COVID, we stopped all the things. In the second half of 2022, I thought I needed to restart my career and in September 2022 I started selling cookies in our apartment. Like always God was gracious to us and our cookies received very positive reviews, we started getting more and more customers via internal chef groups, but there was a limit on the max orders per month and I was thinking of expanding my business to other apartments of Ecity.

Luckily at a birthday party, I met someone who was part of the Ecity Rasoi Ghar WhatsApp group, who connected me with Manisha ji and I joined the group. Initially getting orders was difficult as the food business works on recommendations. But slowly and gradually as feedback started coming, our business started growing. We also added laddus (apart from cookies) in our offering. Today I can very confidently say that post joining the group our business ABCD ( Ankita Bhansali Cookies nd Dessert) has grown at least 4X and the love and support is immense and only growing.
I requested many of my customers to recommend my cookies to their friends and colleagues in Ecity, but this didn’t work for us.
Hey there! I’m Aisha Hafeez, the baking enthusiast who got hooked on the magic of baking back in 2014. 🍰 It all started with my daughter’s birthday cake, and the love and praise it received lit a fire in me to explore more.
With Google and YouTube as my baking mentors, I embarked on a delicious journey into the world of cake artistry. Baking isn’t just a hobby for me; it’s woven into the fabric of my life. In 2016, I launched “Creamy Destination,” my venture where I whip up customized treats like cakes, cupcakes, French macarons, cheesecakes, and more. 🎉
And the adventure doesn’t stop there! I’m not one to rest on my laurels—I love challenging myself with new techniques. Sculpted cakes and hyper-realistic creations are my playground, pushing the boundaries of edible art. 🎨
What’s more, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be part of international cake collaborations, where my work has been met with appreciation from fellow cake enthusiasts around the globe. 🌍 It’s a testament to the joy and passion I pour into each creation at “Creamy Destination.” Excited to keep pushing the limits of what’s possible in the world of baking!

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of serving hundreds of clients, many of whom have become regulars. And guess what? I owe some of this success to the Ecity Rasoi Ghar WhatsApp group I stumbled upon a few months back, thanks to a neighbor’s tip. 🌐 This community has been a game-changer, connecting me with clients closer to home in Electronic City.
Grateful for Rasoi Ghar for being the bridge that brings together home chefs, bakers, and clients, making this sweet journey even more delightful for all of us. 🙏

I was a member of Ecity Rasoi ghar for quite a few years. When I had to quit my job for my daughter,I always liked to be independent and live with my own identity, soI was looking for a platform, where I can do something along with taking care of my daughter. At that moment Ecity Rasoi ghar came to my mind to showcase my passion for cooking good food. My USP was to serve working people fresh home made food with less spice and good quality oil at a pocket friendly price.
Initially I faced few challenges of delivering food, delivering food in my own society was not allowed from the builder, packaging food because of plastic ban etc. I have overcome all of them in my own way. When I received my first feedback from people regarding food quality and taste, it was more satisfying than any of the above challenges I had faced and those words actually inspired me and made my determination stronger. I would like to tell my fellow young, dynamic members to follow your own passion where your little contribution can make a difference in people’s life. If we contribute a little in each of our lives, then we make a good self sustainable community. Ecity Rasoi ghar has been a good platform for all of us to get good food with reasonable prices. Way ahead to go Cheerio!!

I have always wanted to do something on my own and as a woman we are always best at cooking. My passion for cooking was always there so there I got a reference from my friend to join this platform where I can be a home chef and deliver good food to my customers. My first order was placed by Manisha Ma’am who is the founder of this initiative and without her support we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this success in our life.
Initial days the delivery was a bit challenging as not all customers are willing to pay the delivery charges. However if we include those charges in the food items then the price gets higher on that side as well. Now, I have my own delivery guy who delivers food to all my customers.

It’s a platform for all the women who want to start something on her own and all women are good chefs altogether. So getting home made delicious food made a positive impact on the local community.
I feel there should be some initiative to create a platform/group to start a community where women can stay at home to look after their kids and families and side by side they can earn money as well.
Customer satisfaction plays a vital role and brings enthusiasm to all the chef’s in this group. So our customers’ comments and all time admin support brought success to this group.

Hi,
I am Aparna Vishwanath, an engineer by profession, a baker by passion, a homemaker and a mother of two. I had never thought I would ever take up baking as a profession , back then I used to make only chocolates and even then I never thought of selling them. So how did all this start off? I remember my elder daughter jumping around for a doughnut…and bingo i learnt making doughnuts for her and she relished it. Then I tried my hand on baking her birthday cake and curiosity gripped me hard. I did my diploma in baking and chocolate making and a few more certifications. Now my biggest question was how to publicize, how will people know? That’s when I came across the Rasoi ghar group. It’s a blessing indeed! They got my first order from there which was for a christma party celebration and trust me i had butterflies in my stomach. But I passed my exam with flying colours. And that gave a boost to my confidence. I took orders for new year cakes after that. And slowly I started healthy baking because the clientele wanted that. So if you see in a way it’s the Rasoi group which poured in a lot of insight on what I should learn and present.

With a diverse clientele to serve I learnt better presentation, stress management, time management and most importantly planning. Sometimes I would bake cookies, tea cakes, customized birthday cake all in one day and that would be a challenge as I work single handed but I have learnt to do that smoothly now, thanks to the clientele from Rasoi. Also my support system played a very big role in me reaching this stage. By support system I mean my family, my forever motivation and driving force. I remember being tense before confirming an order but they would constantly push me ahead and today you will see a confident baker in me.
So here’s a tip for those who are wondering what to do and how to do:
1. Do what you enjoy, don’t run for monetary benefit because at the end self satisfaction is the most important thing.
2. Give it a shot, don’t fear taking the step, if you fail you will learn and if you succeed u will have a stronger will to do better.
3. There is no right or wrong direction, u take the first step and the path will keep building on its own.
Cheers to all the ladies!!!!
