The women of SNNRAJ GREENBAY celebrated the Hariyali Teej festival on August 6, 2024, in the clubhouse, donning colorful attire and engaging in cultural activities that highlight marital happiness and the onset of the monsoon season. Hariyali Teej is a vibrant and significant Hindu festival, especially observed in North Indian states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Bihar. On this day, women fast and perform rituals to seek blessings from Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati for marital bliss, prosperity, and well-being. Traditionally, women wear green clothing, adorn themselves with intricate jewelry, and participate in ceremonies involving swings decorated with flowers. Hariyali Teej, celebrated two days before Nag Panchami, falls on Shukla Paksha Tritiya in the month of Shravana, honoring Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
