Kannada Rajyotsava 2024: A Celebration of Culture and Community @ Shriram Signiaa

The Rajyotsava celebrations at Shriram Signiaa Apartments began with a flag hoisting ceremony on 1st November, featuring Dr Manohar Madgi, a professor from KLE University, Hubbali. The festivities wrapped up with a two-day community celebration of Karnataka’s culture with music, dance, and traditional food.
The Games Utsava on 23rd November was a day of fun and creativity, with residents showcasing their talents in a drawing and Rangoli competition. The sports event brought together all ages, fostering community and friendly competition. Stalls offered Karnataka delicacies and other products, creating a lively, festive atmosphere.
Karma Bhoomi Utsava, held on 24th November, was a vibrant celebration of Kannada culture. The event began with the energetic beats of a traditional Dollu Kunitha performance. The festivities included graceful dance performances, a ramp walk with children in traditional attire, and women in sarees embodying elegance. Musical acts had everyone tapping their feet, while an exciting quiz on Karnataka sparked friendly competition. Ramachandra G. Shettar’s stand-up comedy added humor to the day. The celebration was topped off with a special breakfast and lunch featuring authentic Karnataka delicacies, making it a perfect blend of culture, fun, and delicious food.
Winners of the drawing, Rangoli, and sports competitions were honored with trophies. Global Arts Academy recognized the artistic competition winners, while Sangeetha Mam, Vice Principal of The Vedam School, acknowledged the sports medalists and senior citizens for their spirited participation.
