- On November 12, Electronic City Residence in Basapura held a splendid celebration in honour of the 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava, with honourable chief guest Shree R.J. Halli Nagaraja, a well-known journalist, poet, and author. The event began with a Veeragase folk dance and a Bhuvanaeshwari procession.
- Following that, guests hoisted the vibrant state flag in yellow and red, and a variety of Kannada cultural events were presented. Both children and adults participated with zeal.
- Ma Ramamurthy was the first person to create and conceptualise the yellow and red flags for Karnataka State. Born in Nanjangud in 1918, he was the son of renowned author and Independence fighter Veerakesari Seetharama Shastri.
