As part of the Hunger Drive Activities Month initiated by Lions International, Lions Clubs under District 317E, Region 2 – Zone 1 are organising a Food Drive aimed at supporting children undergoing post-medical care.
The initiative will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 9.00 am at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Siddapura, Jayanagar 1st Block, Bengaluru. The drive focuses on the distribution of nutritious food to children, reinforcing Lions International’s commitment to addressing hunger and improving child health.
Multiple Lions Clubs, including LCB Agara, LCB Aikya, LCB Mastermind, and LCB Infinity E-City, are participating in the regional service activity. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Surbhi Bhargava, President of LCB Infinity E-City, stated that the club has been actively involved in regional hunger drive initiatives and encouraged members to participate in the food distribution programme to make the effort impactful.
The Food Drive is expected to benefit several children and highlights the collective commitment of Lions Clubs towards humanitarian service and community welfare.
