United we play, United we win.
Maple Bear Canadian Preschool, Singasandra and Hosa Road Centres celebrated “Annual Sports Day 2024” at Decathlon, Bommasandra, Hosur Road, Bengaluru on Saturday, 23rd November 2024.
It was an exhilarating day as we inaugurated our Annual Sports Meet 2024 with much enthusiasm and energy!
Centre Director Mr. Shivaprasad SB, graciously welcomed the esteemed guests. The chief guest, Mr. Nagaraja G H, Ms. Manashvini S Shampur, Ms. Khaina Saharan, Ms. Megha, Ms. Janavi Bonu, Ms. Bindushri S, Ms. Ovya oblikrishnan, Ms. Hina Rijas,
Ms. Sanvika A A, the Coach and CBSE National Level Volleyball Players of DPS E-city, Bengaluru, infused the gathering with his uplifting insights on the transformative power of sports and also encouraged children to choose their favourite sports and work hard on it for the achievement from day one rather than taking multiple deviation. The volleyball players also shared their success journey with the parents and children and gave positive motivation to them.
Centre Director Mr. Shivaprasad SB addressed the gathering and unfolded the story of triumph and said that “Participation is more important than winning”! It does not matter that you win or lose, all that matters is the courage to participate. It is very essential to fight in life rather than just conquering it. You should be ready to face all kinds of challenges and hurdles which come in your way. Participation provides us a platform to challenge ourselves.
The day was filled with a lot of excitement, along with thrill, high spirit, and cheers.
Welcome kit was given to all the parents. We arranged a selfie corner where children and parents took candid photos happily with a smile on their face.
The day kicked off with a flame run by the students of Grade SKG, showcasing their dedication and discipline. The ground reverberated with cheers and applause as our little champions put their best foot forward.
The parachute show and sunflower drill was the icing on the cake and the display was extraordinary. Various games were organised for Toddlers, Nursery, Junior kindergarten, and Senior Kindergarten students. Our little bears impressed everyone with their energy and zest.
Everyone wore proud smiles, knowing that beyond the medals and trophies, Sports Day was about life lessons etched in sweat and determination. The students carried memories tucked in their hearts, the taste of victory, the thrill of the race, and the joy of being part of something bigger.
