What is your vision for the overall development of students in our school?
As the Principal of Delhi Public School Electronic City, my ardent endeavour is to nurture well-rounded learners who not only excel academically, but also think critically, act ethically and contribute meaningfully to society. We strive to create an ecosystem that balances knowledge, skills, values, creativity, and well-being empowering every student to discover their potential, bring forth their best and grow into confident, compassionate global citizens.
What recent achievements of the school make you feel proud?
We take immense pride in our students’ consistent academic excellence, our Board exam results, alongside outstanding national-level sports, and arts achievements. Being ranked No. 1 for three consecutive years in the schools’ survey by The Times of India is a special credit. We are equally honoured that one of our students was selected among the top 18 students under 18 years of age across the country for the Research and Discovery Award by Times of India NIE for engineering an AI-driven solution to tackle textile waste in commercial agriculture, our girls’ shooting team consistently emerging as National Champions, our junior boys’ baseball team triumphing as South Zone winners, one of our students was declared the 2nd Runner-Up in the National Young Authors’ Quest 2025 by Britannica Education and many more accolades. Such accomplishments across diverse domains are truly a testament to our collective efforts.
How is your school different from the other schools?
What truly distinguishes our school is not just what we teach, but how we shape learners by following a holistic philosophy that education is a shared responsibility. We focus on nurturing thinkers, innovators, and compassionate individuals through a balanced blend of academic rigor, co-scholastic experiences, experiential learning, values’ education, and global exposure. Our classrooms encourage inquiry, collaboration, and real-world problem solving, while our culture ensures every child feels seen, supported, and inspired. Rather than competing with other schools, we strive to complement each child’s unique potential because true education is not comparison, but transformation.
