Summer vacations are the best part of the year for kids. We get so many days to be free and play around. There is no homework to be done and no syllabus to follow. This time summer vacation was quite fun for me. My vacation started in March. On the last day of my second standard, me and my classmates were very excited. We enjoyed school a lot and went home to start our holidays. I played a lot daily with my friends.

A few days later, my grandparents came from their home – I was very happy about it and played with them for an entire day at a time. Sometimes, my friends also come to my home to play. My grandmother made yummy snacks for us like bread poha, fritters and much more.

During the day, I went swimming regularly as it’s my favorite sport. And during evenings, I also go to parks for swings and cycling. Summer vacations are quite fun! I get to enjoy it a lot.

Though the vacations are about to end now and I will surely miss this time, I am also excited for next year of school when I will go to third standard.
