The E-City Premier League (EPL) organized by the Electronic City Sports & Cultural Association, was successfully held on 18th and 19th April 2026 at PES Cricket Ground, Electronic City, Bengaluru.
The tournament was inaugurated by DCP Electronic City, Shri M. Narayana, in the presence of enthusiastic participants and spectators. The event witnessed active participation from various Government Departments including Law & Order Police teams from Electronic City Station, Hebbagodi Station and Parappana Agrahara Station, CISF, Electronic City Fire Station, and Traffic Police Station, along with Residents Welfare Association (RWA) teams such as Ajmera Infinity, Concorde Manhattans, Ganga Vertica and The Lakeview Address Apartment.
The primary motto of the league was to promote awareness on health and fitness through sports and community engagement.
After two days of competitive cricket, the CISF team emerged as the champions of the EPL 2026 of the tournament. Electronic City Fire Station Team was the Runner up.
CISF Commandant Shri Sandeep Manhas graced the occasion as Guest of Honour and presented the trophy to the winning teams.
Organizers Parshuram Yaragudri, Hardik Thakkar, and Amith Bhargav expressed that with EPL tournaments it was possible to bring the Government Department authorities and Residents together to have a cordial relationship with the general public.
Organisers are planning to organise even larger editions of the tournament in the future, encouraging regular sports participation and fostering a culture of fitness and healthy living among all sections of the community.
