ELCITA’s Government School Upliftment Program
Transforming Government Schools Through Infrastructure, Hygiene & Digital Inclusion
With a vision to create safe, inclusive, and future-ready learning environments for children studying in government schools around Electronics City, the Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA) initiated a comprehensive Government School Upliftment Program.
The initiative began after ELCITA received requests from several government schools seeking support for improving basic infrastructure and hygiene facilities. Following detailed site visits and assessments by the ELCITA team, critical gaps were identified in areas such as toilet renovation, building repairs, electrical systems, drainage, and classroom infrastructure.
Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, ELCITA undertook extensive infrastructure development works across 16 government schools located in and around Electronics City, benefiting more than 3,200 students through improved infrastructure, hygiene, and digital learning facilities.
