For the students of Basapura Government School, attending classes was once a major challenge. With no proper school building, students had to sit inside an electrical shop and continue their studies in an unsuitable environment.

A positive change began in December when a BNI member stepped forward through a CSR initiative to support the school. The initiative was highlighted in the newspaper, bringing attention to the school’s urgent need for better infrastructure. Following this, ELCITA (Electronic City Industrial Township Authority) took over the project and worked towards improving the school’s facilities. The efforts have now brought a significant transformation. The students have proper classrooms where they can sit comfortably and focus on their education in a safe and dignified environment.

What was once a difficult situation has now become a hopeful example of how community involvement and responsible organisations can make a real difference. ELCITA has not only supported the development of the school but is also continuing to take care of its maintenance and upkeep. The transformation of Basapura Government School is a commendable initiative that goes beyond constructing classrooms. It is about creating a better learning environment and giving children the opportunity to study with confidence and dignity.
