The renowned Huskur Jathre concluded successfully on March 17, drawing an overwhelming gathering of over two lakh devotees during its five-day celebrations. The annual event, which began on March 13, witnessed participation from devotees across Karnataka, reflecting deep-rooted faith and tradition.
The festival was attended by Honorable D. K. Shivakumar, along with senior police officials including Electronic City DCP Narayana. Extensive security and crowd management arrangements were in place, with personnel from the police department, traffic police, civil defence, home guards, NCC, and medical teams working together to ensure public safety.
To facilitate smooth transportation, special bus services were operated at regular intervals, helping devotees travel conveniently to and from the venue. Food arrangements, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, were provided throughout the day for attendees.
One of the unique highlights of the jathre was the tradition of devotees throwing bananas onto temple chariots while making wishes. This year, eight to nine chariots were part of the grand procession. The vibrant atmosphere, devotional spirit, and well-organized arrangements made this year’s celebration a grand and memorable success.
