The Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Bangalore, located in Electronic City, has received the TIMES BUSINESS AWARD 2026 for Excellence in Hospital & Health Management Education. The award was presented by actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood and accepted by Director Dr. Usha Manjunath and Prof. Shamsuzzaman Ansari. Dr. Usha said the recognition reflects the collective efforts of the institute's faculty, students, alumni, and industry partners. Since 2017, IIHMR Bangalore has expanded its academic, research, consultancy, and executive education initiatives, attracting students from over 16 states. The institute offers AICTE-approved PGDM programmes in Hospital & Health Management, Pharmaceutical Management, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (Healthcare), and an FPM programme. It is leading projects such as LASI Wave-2 and a Cornell University collaboration, while its ADMIRE Centre promotes digital health innovation. IIHMR also boasts strong placements and recently earned top national rankings, including Academic Insights, Careers360, and Outlook.
