BENGALURU: Namma Metro’s Yellow Line could soon move further south, with BMRCL planning a 10.5-km extension from Bommasandra to Attibele, featuring nine proposed stations. According to source metrorailnews.in , BMRCL has completed a feasibility study for the extension, which would run along the Hosur Road corridor towards the Karnataka–Tamil Nadu border. The proposal is expected to move towards preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR). The extension could significantly improve public transport connectivity for Electronic City, Bommasandra, Chandapura and Attibele, while bringing Bengaluru’s Metro network closer to Hosur. The development also comes amid growing discussions around a potential Bengaluru–Hosur Metro connection, making cross-border connectivity an increasingly important transport issue for the region
